Paul Daley Announces Retirement Fight

Paul “Semtex” Daley, the English middleweight, has officially announced his retirement fight, after a 19 year career!

Speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Daley said he is targeting a May 13th fight, to announce his retirement.

“It will be my retirement fight,”

The 38 year old has fought in a multitude of MMA promotions. He has fought in; UFC, Bellator, Cage Rage, Final Fight Championship, Strikeforce, EliteXC, ShoXC, BAMMA, Cage Warriors, Cage Contender, Shark Fights, Pancrase, and Impact FC.

Paul Daley is both famous and infamous in the MMA world. He put on what is perhaps the greatest ever 1 round fight against Nick Diaz, at Strikeforce in 2011

However, he is also responsible for one of the worst pieces of foul play in UFC history, when he punched Josh Koscheck after the final bell of their fight.

This incident got Paul Daley cut permanently from the UFC.
