Masvidal Knocks Out Covington’s Tooth In Restaurant Brawl

Jorge Masvidal & Colby Covington allegedly got into a scrap, while at Papi Steak restaurant on Monday, 21st March.

Miami Beach Police confirm to me an incident occurred last night involving Jorge Masvidal outside Papi Steak, in which a victim alleges he was punched twice in the face, resulting in a chipped tooth and wrist abrasion. Full details from police report coming to @MMAJunkie.

In a separate video released by TMZ, Colby Covington is seen surrounded by Police outside of the Miami hotspot.

After the alleged incident, Masvidal took to video to challenge Colby to show his face, while also adding:

If you talk that s***, you’ve got to back it up.”

It is not possible at this time to confirm that Covington was the victim of Masvidal’s attack, as ‘Marsy’s law’ was invoked by the victim. However, he left only a little room for doubt over who it was with this Tweet sent the following morning:

Masvidal now faces possible felony charges of assault after the incident.

According to the police report, Covington suffered a fractured tooth and an injury to his left eye.

Covington was having dinner with the Elkboys and it is assumed that Masvidal knew of Colby’s whereabouts after a photo was uploaded of Covington at the restaurant.

In the TMZ video, Colby can be heard asking “How would [Masvidal] know I’m here?”
