The Champion of the Heavyweight division can famously call himself “the baddest man on the planet”. The logic behind this famous line being that if you are the best fighter in the heaviest division in MMA, then you are the scariest man alive to get in a fight with.
The Heavyweight title is the slipperiest title in MMA. It has only been defended a maximum of 3 times consecutively in the history of the UFC (By Stipe Miocic). This is believed to be because it only takes one mistake, or one well timed punch, which can lead to a knockout, due to the size of the men delivering the punches.
